What Does Crumbl Do with Leftover Cookies

Over the last several years we have read countless articles about new Crumbl Cookies stores opening and selling 5000 cookies in a single day. When this many cookies are sold, there are bound to be some leftovers; especially since Crumbl wants to serve their cookies hot. So, what does Crumbl do with leftover cookies? Note that each store is different.

Many Crumbl Cookie stores will donate cookies to a local police station, fire department, hospital, school or other organization. Note that Crumbl Cookie stores close at 10:00 pm on weekdays and 12:00 midnight on weekends. This means that the store manager or franchise owner won’t know how many leftover cookies there are until very late in the night. Most organizations and other restaurants/stores are closed by 10:00 making it hard for local Crumbl Cookies stores to donate their cookies.

This is why we have seen viral videos of hundreds of Crumbl Cookies being thrown in a dumpster. For health reasons, Crumbl cannot just walk around and hand out cookies. If someone got sick they could potentially have a claim against Crumbl. If you have a local Crumbl Cookies store in your area and you think it was be worthwhile for them to donate cookies after 10:00 pm you can reach out to a manager at the store. If the cookies aren’t donated, they are thrown away each night.
