When Crumbl released the Dessert Lab to the public, there was incredible interest in the Molten Lava Cake. With over 80% of respondents saying they would buy this dessert, it means we will likely see it on the weekly rotating menu sometime in November or December of 2025.
In July 2025 the non cookie dessert version of the Chocolate Molten Lava Cake is resurfacing. There are a number of top secret cakes and partnerships coming up in August and September 2025, but the Molten Lava Cake cookie was on the rotating menu in July 2025, making it unlikely that we will see the cake version of Molten Lava from Crumbl.

It should come as no surprise that Crumbl is testing the brand new Limited Time Offer (LTO), Molten Lava Cake. The Molten Lava Cookie was very popular and tasted amazing, so why not make it into an actual cake. The dessert is described as, “a rich chocolate cake with a melted molten chocolate center and topped with powdered sugar and smooth French vanilla mousse.”
