Crumbl Cookies Store Closings List

Crumbl has been rumored to be closing underperforming stores in 2026 and 2027. Sales have been very bad in early 2026 for Crumbl. So far in 2026, the following stores have closed permanently:

With co-creators of Crumbl Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley stepping down as of May 2026, we expect to see many more locations pulling the plug and closing their Crumbl stores.

While Crumbl has had terrible sales in 2025, the TikTok rumor video is not true. Crumbl is not closing down. The headquarters logo that was removed was due to the lease being up and them moving to a different location. Crumbl is not closing down. We suspect some store locations will close in 2026 but not the entire company.

The reason there has been a growing interest in the possibility of Crumbl closing is the fact that there is a possibility that many Crumbl locations will have to close. Most people have a friend or relative that works at Crumbl. These Crumbl crew members have often expressed how much they have to do for so little pay. On top of all the job requirements, stores have been empty the entire year of 2025. We have suspected that the Mexican fanfare for the Tres Leches Cake and Churro cookie has worn off. When you combine that with a consumer spending less money, it is a recipe for some really bad sales at Crumbl.

After a very bad summer for Crumbl, we suspect there will be many store closings in the Fall of 2025 and Winter of 2026. We will continue to update this page with the Crumbl Cookies store closing list.

We predicted the Crumbl fad was over in the summer of 2023 and now the chickens are coming to roost in the form of store closings. As of March 1st, 2024, we have documented 12 Crumbl locations that have permanently since the Summer of 2023.

The first public documentation of a store closing is the San Luis Obispo store that closed on December 4th, 2023. Just four (4) short months after opening. We will document the Crumbl Cookies store closings on this page in the form of a list:
