To start the day on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025 Crumbl employees were met with point of sale (POS) cash registers being down companywide. This means that if you plan to go into the store and order 6 cookies for the price of 4 and would like to pay with a credit card or cash at the cash register, you cannot do that. This is likely an issue that will be fixed, but this could be the final nail in the coffin for Crumbl. The only way to purchase desserts at Crumbl, when the POS is down, is to use the Crumbl app or order online.
Diehard fans are very disheartened by the lack of creativity in the upcoming Halloween menu. Combine that with the fact that the Secret Menu has not been popular and the only positive sales weeks are collabs/partnerships or the Dubai Chocolate Brownie.
If Crumbl does not get the POS cash registers fixed in an efficient manner, many customers are going to be very upset. While the younger generation may think it is as easy as downloading the Crumbl app and adding your Apple Pay, this is not so easy for the older generation that will be buying 6 cookies for the price of 4. Hopefully the Crumbl employees endure the day and the POS systems come back online soon.
