Update about the baking process of the Brownie Sundae at Crumbl: “So this is a small psa for those who like to get cookies as early as possible for mon morning. Chances are your brownie sundae will not be ready at 8am. I’m guessing itll depend on how early the openers start. But they take 32 mins to bake plus 2 HOURS to cool to room temp. And how ever long it may take for the batter to come up to temp to even start baking them. My store will be marking them sold out right at open because we are not in early enough to have them baking by 530 ( the time corporate recommends). So please be kind to your store, we will be trying to get them ready ASAP.” To add on to this – don’t be mad at us if your vanilla mousse melts. Whoever made this recipe was dumb enough to put cold vanilla mousse on top of a warm brownie and then add more hot fudge on top.
During the week of September 30 – October 5, 2024 Brownie Sundae Pie (Limited Time Offer dessert) will run on the rotating weekly Crumbl menu. This has run as a cookie in the past but will be an actual brownie sundae this time. The dessert is described as, “a decadent brownie topped with velvety vanilla mousse, smother with warm fudge, finished with rainbow sprinkles and a cool cherry.” Note that Crumbl did away with their Crumbl Cream Ice Cream so the topping is going to be a vanilla mousse but not vanilla ice cream.
- I’m a sucker for a brownie, and I really enjoyed this one. It was fudgy and chocolatey. But not too rich like the chocolate base cookies sometimes are for me. The topping is the same kind as on the skillet cookies, and I thought it meshed well with the brownie to cut some of the chocolate. Overall 9/10.
