During the Mystery Cookie week of August 14-19, 2023 many Crumbl fans are reporting the Cereal Milk Sandwich ft. Fruity Pebbles cereal is even better than the Oreo Mallow Sandwich. It is interesting that this is on the menu as a Mystery Cookie as it has never run on the main menu. We were wrong, this cookie did run September 6-11, 2021.
Note that Oatmeal Mallow Sandwich was a tester cookie over the summer of 2023. With the success and virality of the sandwich cookies, it will be interesting to see if Crumbl starts offering more “sandwich style” cookies on the main menu in the near future. Over the summer of 2023 most Crumbl locations reported slowing sales which makes us wonder if “sandwich cookies” are the answer to get sales back to where they were in the summer of 2022.
The main reason that Crumbl does not run the Oreo Mallow Sandwich and other sandwich cookies very often is the fact that they are extremely difficult to make. It is two full cookies with icing in the middle. When Oreo Mallow Sandwich is on the main menu it sells out almost instantly because of the difficulty to make and the amount of demand.
We will continue to monitor this development as Crumbl might end up becoming the “sandwich cookie shoppe”.
