The customer reviews are in and people absolutely love the Tres Leches Cake ft. Lotus Biscoff. This comes on the heels of the Tres Leches Cake being one of the most highly rated desserts ever at Crumbl.
Here is a review, “I’ve been waiting for this one for a bit and I’m happy to say it did not disappoint! A few things to note I’d you haven’t tried it yet. This IS a spiced cake meaning the cinnamon flavor is heavily incorporated into the cake itself. If you do not like cinnamon, I highly advise you to reconsider. Secondly it is a DENSE cake, it is a wet cake. I’ve had tres leches elsewhere where it’s way too soggy but this one felt just right. The main flavors I’m tasting is the cake itself, cinnamon and whipped cream. The cookie butter IS there but it’s a bit subtle. Even the crumbs you don’t taste as much. However, overall I think it was a great cake. I’d give it a 9/10. If they could better incorporate the cookie butter flavor in the future I’d give it a 10.”

Here is a review:
- I would rank it a 7/10. It’s nothing special really. I was expecting it to be more saturated like a true tres leches but it was just a pleasant moist cinnamon flavored cake with light whipped cream and cookie pieces. It doesn’t really taste like cookie butter at all. It tasted good just not as good as I’d hoped. It definitely gives fall vibes but the name doesn’t really fit. Hopefully they tweak the recipe to make it more cookie butter flavored somehow.
- I liked it more than the original. The cake itself had spice to it, but it had the same tres leche sauce. Then it had the cookie butter on top, with whipped cream, and dusted with biscoff. It was so good to me, but I do really like cookie butter.
Tres Leches Cake (LTO) was a business changing offering for Crumbl. It was the first big non cookie offering and sold very well. Now, Crumbl is trying out the Cookie Butter Tres Leches Cake. This dessert is described as “a lightly spiced fluffy cake soaked in classic tres leches sauce, topped with melted cookie butter and fresh whipped cream, sprinkled with cookie butter pieces and drizzled with more melted cookie butter.” So, lots of cookie butter on this Tres Leches cake.
As soon as this becomes available we will post taste tests and reviews.
