The Biscoff Cheesecake that was on the Crumbl rotating menu from July 7-12, 2025 was, by far and away, the most positively received and reviewed cheesecake Crumbl has ever had. Maybe this is the cheesecake turnaround Crumbl fans were looking for. Next up is Cookies & Cream Cheesecake from July 14-19, 2025.
Crumbl has worked very hard to create new dessert offerings. So much so, they started offering Non Cookie Desserts (NCD) to expand their audience. One of the most popular non cookie desserts in America is Cheesecake. There is even a restaurant company based on it – The Cheesecake Factory. Crumbl has tried diligently to crack the code on the perfect cheesecake. While some would say it is the crust, others would say it is the flavor of the cream cheese filling.
Those seeking the best cheesecake to purchase have touted Costco as the best option; over Crumbl. Even the diehard Crumbl fans that think the cheesecakes are divine admit that Costco does something better. Maybe Crumbl can change that perception and reality heading into the end of 2025.
Crumbl has marketed they have partnered with Philadelphia Cream Cheese to make their cheesecakes. Unfortunately, there has not been the excitement for Crumbl Cheesecakes as there has been for other popular desserts such as Tres Leches Cake and Skillet Cookies. One reason could be that Cheesecake desserts simply aren’t Instagrammable. They don’t create excitement when someone shares a TikTok or Instagram with cheesecake as the visual focus.
It is interesting to note that many of these cheesecakes have average reviews of 4.4 or higher. A large number of them have average reviews above 4.6. We assume most of these reviews happened when Crumbl released that style of cheesecake for the first time. We are now seeing multi repeats of these cheesecakes and they are not selling as well the second and third times around.
Does it come down to taste? Is The Cheesecake Factory that much better? What we know is that the fervor for this style of non cookie dessert is not nearly as high as Crumbl would like it to be.
