It is crazy to realize there are basically zero (0) Crumbl Cookies locations in Eastern North Carolina. There is one (1) store in Wilmington and one on the Outer Banks in Kitty Hawk but none in Goldsboro, Wilson, Rocky Mount, Greenville, Washington or Smithfield. With such a large area with no Crumbl locations, one would think the franchise partner that owns this territory would get the store open sooner rather than later. When looking for news articles about a Crumbl coming to Goldsboro, there is nothing. This means we are over six (6) months out for a Crumbl in Goldsboro, NC.
It takes about 6-9 months for the buildout and opening process for a Crumbl. If there has been no word of a lease signed to start building out the store, it is likely we will not see a Crumbl in Goldsboro any time before Spring 2024. Franchise Partners and Crumbl corporate do not want to open stores during the holidays as this is the slowest time of the year for Crumbl and not a good time to try to staff a store for the upcoming holidays.
If a Crumbl Cookies is going to open in Goldsboro, look for it to open in February of 2024 or later. This is not good news for many diehard Crumbl fans as they have to drive all the way to Raleigh to get Crumbl Cookies each time the menu changes.
