UPDATE: The Crumbl Greenville, NC will open in late 2024. The location will be in the University Commons shopping center, located at the corner of Evans Street and Greenville Boulevard.
The franchise partners that opened the Fayetteville, NC store in July 2023 hold the territory for Greenville, NC. Now that Fayetteville is open, they will likely start the focus on the Greenville, NC store. That said, it will be several months before it opens. Expect a Grand Opening in early 2024 for Crumbl Greenville, NC.
If there is any town or city in North Carolina that needs a Crumbl, it is Greenville, NC. The campus of ECU is home to almost 30,000 students and Greenville has a population of almost 90,000. This is ripe for Crumbl to do extremely well. As with most college Crumbl stores, the smart strategy is to build the store in the suburban area of the college town as putting a Crumbl on the main strip like Franklin Street (UNC) makes parking impossible. The UNC and FSU Crumbl locations are not nearly as busy as, say, the College Station (Texas A&M) Crumbl because they have no parking and are selling single cookies. The College Station store is in a shopping center on the outskirts of town and families can buy 4-packs and 6-packs all day.
When searching for the exact location of a Crumbl location in Greenville, NC there are no news articles. This makes us believe it will be several months and potential over a year before the Crumbl in Greenville opens. It is a 6-9 month buildout phase and most stores take some time to hire staff and train employees. Crumbl Corporate and Franchise Partners do not like to open during the holiday season for obvious reasons. This means spring 2024 will be the earliest a Crumbl in Greenville, NC will open. If we hear any news about an exact location or a grand opening date, we will update this page. In the meantime, ECU students have to drive to Wilmington or Kitty Hawk to get Crumbl Cookies.
