UPDATE: It is likely the Chapel Hill Crumbl will be opening in mid to late October 2022.
On the week of July 11th-17th, 2022 the sign for Crumbl Cookies and the Coming Soon graphics were added to 123 West Franklin Street, Suite 150. This location is near the Chase Bank and Arrow barber shop and a short walk from the Target in front of Granville Towers. The location is considered part of Carolina Square. The graphics went up fast as they were not on the building before the July 4th holiday. In a Daily Tar Heel article, it is stated that the franchise owner is not 100% confident when the store will open. On Monday, August 15th, 2022 all students begin classes at UNC.
It is highly unlikely that the Crumbl Cookies UNC Chapel Hill location will be opened by the first day of class. A more likely opening date will be around Labor Day weekend or sometime in September of October 2022. An opening between Labor Day weekend and Halloween 2022 is likely. As we find out more information, we will pass it along.
