During the week of St. Patrick’s Day 2024 (3/11-3/16), Crumbl Cookies will be running Mint Brownie Batter on their rotating menu. This cookie is described as “a warm chocolate cookie packed with mint chips, then topped and baked with a gooey layer of brownie batter”.
Note that the only difference in Mint Brownie Batter and the classic Brownie Batter is the mint chips that are baked into the cookie. The gooey layer of brownie batter on top has been a frustration for some Crumbl Cookies customers such as this one. When baking these cookies, Crumbl employees are asked to squeeze brownie batter on top of the cookies right before they go in the oven. It is very easy to forget this step as once the cookies are pulled out of the refrigerator and are thawed, almost every single other type of Crumbl Cookie goes right in the oven. This is a unique step that can be missed causing the cookies to not have the brownie batter melted on top of the cookie. Sadly, some Crumbl Cookies locations will still give this wrongly made cookies to customers.
In 2023 St. Patrick’s Day week was not overwhelmingly busy at most Crumbl locations so if your cookie does not have the melted brownie batter on the top, you have ever right to ask them for a cookie that does have the batter on top. It is most often the case that Crumbl employees forget the top batter when they are super busy and stressed.
