The Total Solar Eclipse Crumbl Cookie – Real or Fake?

There has been a graphic going around that on April 8th, 2024 Crumbl will be offering a one day only Total Solar Eclipse Cookie. This cookie is described as “quadruple chocolate infused with warm blackberry icing. You’ve never experienced anything like it. And scientifically won’t for another hundred years.” This screams of an April Fools joke or simply a fake flyer being shared around on the Internet.

It is not the new Crumbl font nor the Crumbl branding at all. To top it all off, they started a sentence with “And” while also providing details. Until we find out this is true, we are calling this false.

Note that Krispy Kreme is doing this, “🍩 To celebrate the rare Total Solar Eclipse that’s happening on April 8, Krispy Kreme is offering Total Solar Eclipse Doughnuts! An Original Glazed Doughnut dipped in black chocolate icing, adorned with silver sprinkles, piped with a buttercream made with OREO pieces, and a whole OREO cookie in the center.

☀️🌑🌎 What’s a total solar eclipse? The moon will line up perfectly between the Earth and the sun at midday, completely blocking the face of the Sun. People located in the center of the Moon’s shadow when it hits Earth will experience a total eclipse. The sky will darken, as if it were dawn or dusk The next Total Solar Eclipse will be on August 23, 2044!

When is it? Its path of totality will cross the United States April 8th from approximately 2:27 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. Eastern time. That’s when, if you’re in the path, the sky will darken for several minutes and the air will get colder.”
