We all know that Crumbl Cookies closes at midnight on Saturday and does not open again until Monday at 8:00 am. After close on Saturday, the flavors that were available the previous week are no longer available meaning the baked cookies are worthless. Does Crumbl throw away all these cookies on Saturday night after the close? The answer is yes, and no. Crumbl Cookies locations donate many of their cookies to local police stations, fire departments, hospitals, schools or other organizations. That said, if the staff over baked hundreds of extra cookies there is a good chance they may have to throw them out.
It becomes a logistical problem on Saturday nights as Crumbl Cookies stores do not want to be “sold out” of a cookie but they also do not want to have 100 extra baked cookies left over. The leftover cookies cannot be kept and sold on Monday. This means they have to be discarded in some way that is not only legal, but safe. Crumbl Cookies employees can’t just go around handing people cookies that were baked several hours ago. This is a health issue. That said, if the cookies were baked within the last few hours and a fire department or police station is accepting donations, you can be rest assured that Crumbl would much rather give these cookies to service workers rather than throw them away.
