UPDATE: The functionality of the Crumbl app was fixed after the Tres Leches shareable cake was not an option. Crumbl customers can now purchase the cake within the app.
On Monday, April 29th, 2024 the family sized shareable Tres Leches Cake was first made available at Crumbl locations. Unfortunately, it is nowhere to be found in the app. When you click “order now” and go to the next screen, you can select a location but there are no options to purchase the $29.99 Tres Leches family sized cake. Notably, there is also no way to order minis in the app on Mini Monday, April 29th, 2024.
We have learned this dessert is going to be $29.99 and will be available starting the first week of May for Cinco de Mayo. You may want to call your local Crumbl Cookies location ahead of time to make certain they can bake the cake in correct time frame. Originally, Crumbl was going to run the smaller, single sized Tres Leches Cake during the week of Cinco de Mayo but there was a supply chain shortage of trays that the individual sized Tres Leches Cakes went in.
Tres Leches Cake has been, by far and away, the most popular non cookie offering, or LTO, at Crumbl Cookies. The Tres Leches Cake ran February 19-24, 2024 and will be on the rotating menu again April 29th – May 4th, 2024. If you want your entire family to have a full sized Tres Leches Cake, that is coming soon as well. The Family-Sized Shareable Tres Leches cake is described as “The Tres Leche Cake you know and love – now in a shareable size! A light, fluffy vanilla cake soaked in a classic tres leches sauce, topped with whipped cream, and sprinkled with a layer of cinnamon.”
Note that the shareable family sized Tres Leches Cake will not be on the rotating menu. It will be on the catering menu and you will have to give your Crumbl location 24 hours in advance to make the cake. Basically, it is only offered as a catering order. We are certain to see the family-sized shareable Cinnamon Squares too.
The cost will likely be around the same as a 12 pack or about $40. Check the cost of a 12 pack at your local Crumbl and it will likely be in that price range. We are not certain when it will be made available at all stores.
